WHERE ARE WE ?
Wawne is situated in the County of East Yorkshire whos southern & Eastern boundries meet with the City of Kingston upon Hull, the Humber Estuary and the North Sea.
Wawne is a small village with 412 dwellings (2013).
It has a no through road of Main Street which divides into Green's Lane & Ferry Road to the West which both lead to the River Hull.
There is now no crossing.
To the East the road runs between Hull and Beverley
